Lori Bergmark, Bee to Bloom will tell us all about solitary bees. These important pollinators are much different than honey bees and we will learn about how to identify them and how to support them.

March 11, 2020 Growing Micro Greens
Sandy McDonald, Ramsey County Master Gardeners presented information about growing micro greens; quick growing vegetables and herbs that can be grown indoors. They can be used in salads or as fresh greens in many types of dishes during the cold seasons of the year.
Each club member was able to take a small basket with a mixture of fast growing micro green seeds planted in potting mix.

February 12, 2020 Dahlias Part 1
Del Hampton with the MN Dahlia Society presented Dahlias Part 1 to Trillium members and guests. The presentation was "A Year In The Life Of An Urban Dahlia Grower. It covered the method and monitoring process for over-wintered tubers and the activities to expect each month up until summer. Dahlias Part 2 will take place at our August meeting.
